The challenge this month is to use paint and flowers. The painting below is the inspiration.

Here is my layout. I used a wood grain patterned paper for the background but then applied light brush strokes of paint in light pinks, blues and yellows to enhance the colours of the flowers. I stencilled texture paste and then stamped to add interest to the back ground. Chipboard frames, muslin and of course lots and lots of flowers completed my layout.

And this is my creation. I used lots of fussy-cut images, texture, stencilling and art stones to complete my layout.

I was inspired by the wood and stones in the mood board. I stamped the wood pieces in Distress Oxide Hicory Smoke using a Kaisercraft stamp, fussy cut lots of stone pieces from Kaisercraft Morning Due paper collection and added art stones to complete the look
